Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy describes the conduct and content that is and isn't allowed on Chocukat Island (“we”, “us”, or “our”), our online creature-breeding game. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to follow this policy. It applies everywhere on the island, including forums, the island feed, profile status updates, private messages, trade offers, and Kat Gen commission requests.

1. Lawful use

You may not use Chocukat Island for anything unlawful, to break any applicable law or regulation, or to infringe anyone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

2. Respect other players

  • No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or threats directed at other players.
  • No posting or messaging sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.
  • No scamming other players in trades, sales, raffles, or private messages.
  • No impersonating other players, the creator, or staff.
  • Keep in mind younger players may be present — keep public spaces friendly.

3. Fair play

  • No cheating, exploiting bugs, or using bots, scripts, or automation to play the game.
  • No buying, selling, or trading coins, Chocukats, or accounts for real money outside the site's official checkout and market features.
  • No creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages (e.g. extra raffle entries, starter coins, or trades with yourself).
  • The weekly raffle is free to enter, one entry per player, with no purchase necessary and no way to buy extra entries or better odds.
  • Coins are in-game credit only — they have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, or exchanged for money.
  • If you find a bug or exploit, report it to us instead of using it.

4. Technical abuse

  • No uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or malicious code.
  • No probing, scanning, or attempting to breach the security or integrity of the service.
  • No scraping or harvesting player data without permission.
  • No attempting to access another player's account, mailbox, or data.

5. Content and intellectual property

Chocukat artwork, line art, and game assets are the property of the creator. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or claim them as your own. Content you post (status updates, forum posts, messages) remains yours, but you grant us a limited license to host and display it as part of the service. Do not post content you don't have the right to share.

6. Enforcement

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate any account that materially breaches this policy, creates a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violates the rules. Serious breaches may result in immediate termination without warning. We are not obligated to refund coins or memberships for accounts terminated for policy violations, except where required by law or Paddle's buyer terms.
